Mind Blowing Hyperrealistic Sculptures

Amazing but super freaky! (yes this one does give me an idea of what a live-action Wisp movie might look like.)

I think the Cinemaquette's from Toynami (www.cinemaquette.com) are freaky enough and they are 24" full body movie characters, these take it to the next level. This is the real Uncanny Valley!

Best Ninja Movie of 2009: Turtles Forever

Some of you might know I am a big Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan - I've been reading it since the comic book first came out in 1984 in black and white. Most people though know the Turtles from the cartoon show in the late 80's where they ate pizza and said "Cowabunga dudes" all the time - hey, that has its place in the history - and the recent TURTLES FOREVER animated movie just shows how much fun each and every variation of the TMNT dynasty is.

It is probably the last Ninja Turtles project that will be under the guidance of co-creator Peter Laird at Mirage Studios as he recently sold the property to Nickelodeon. So a new dynasty will arise - but these last 25 years have been an amazing ride!

If you have any Turtles connection from the past 25 years you need to seek this 1 hour movie out - it was a blast, it was a geek fest of comic references, it was funny, it was crazy and it made fun of itself.

And that last shot reference to the first double page spread from #1 brought a tear to my eye, not to mention the live action ending.

Thanks Kevin and Peter for raising such good kids, I hope their new parents can continue the legacy!

Turtle Power!

If you work in tech you'll do more tech stuff than you think!

Add in walking iPhone user guide, WiFi master and gadget master and that cartoon is pretty much accurate about me.

Until recently, saying I used a Mac got me out of all kinds of PC questions, but now everyone is switching to Mac I can't get out of it anymore!
